Mandy Rigg
Mandy spent six years as the director of information services for the Colorado Association of Nonprofit Organizations (CANPO) where she was editor of Nonprofit Colorado, the state association's flagship publication. She also produced the popular series of administrative resource materials for Colorado nonprofits and coordinated CANPO's educational programs. Before launching her own consulting business in 2000, Mandy worked for Grant Guides Plus/Grantseeker.com, Richard Male's national publishing and training company. She was the editor of major grant guides for nonprofits in New York, New Jersey, California, Pennsylvania and Ohio. As an associate at Richard Male & Associates, Mandy creates strategic plans, resource development plans, and a wide range of fundraising and promotional materials for RMA clients. In addition to writing compelling grant proposals, she specializes in making technical and legal issues accessible and entertaining for the lay reader. Working on behalf of RMA, Mandy has helped organizations of every size and mission from small grassroots advocacy groups to established national associations. Mandy's background includes eight years in New York City working in marketing and public relations, as well as six years as a professional actress in England working in television, radio, regional theater, film and commercials.
